Özet
31 Mart Olayı İrtica bağlamında tarihte önemli bir yere sahiptir. Din ve
siyaset söz konusu olduğu zaman sözde aydınlar hemen bu hadiseyi gündemlerine
alarak irtica ile ilişkilendirirler. Gerçek ise öyle değildir. Biz bu
makalemizde 31 Olayına sebep olduğu ileri sürülen Derviş Vahdetî ve
İttihad-ı Muhammedî Cemiyeti bağlamında Bediüzzaman Said Nursî’nin
bunlarla ilişkisi ve 31 Mart hadisesinin gerçek yönünü yine Bediüzzaman’ın
Divan-ı Harb-i Örfî mahkemesinde yaptığı savunmaya dayanarak incelemeye
çalıştık.
Derviş Vahdetînin hayatı ve şahsiyeti, Jön Türklerle münasebeti,
Bediüzzaman’ın İttihad-ı Muhammedî Cemiyeti’nin kurucusu olup olmadığı,
Ahrar Fırkasının 31 Mart hadisesindeki rolü ve 31 Mart hadisesinde
İngilizlerin rolünün olup olmadığı konusunda tarihçilerin beyanlarını
da araştırdık.

Abstract
The 31st March Incident has an important place in history in the context
of fundamentalism.When it comes to religion and politics, so-called intellectuals
immediately take this incident on their agenda and associate it with
fundamentalism. But the truth is not so.
In this article, we tried to examine Bediuzzaman Said Nursî’s relationship
with Dervish Vahdati and the Society Of Union Of Muhammadians
which are claimed to cause the 31st Incident and the true aspect of
the March 31 Incident, based on Bediuzzaman’s argument at the Military
Commission.
We also investigated the statements of historians about the life and personality
of the Dervish Vahdati, his relationship with the Young Turks,
whether Bediuzzaman was the founder of the Socitey of Union Of Muhammadians
and the role of the Ahrar Party in the 31st March Incident, the
British role in the 31st March Incident.
