İki Pencereden Kadın – Emine BAKIRLIOĞLU
Özet
Kadın, erkekten farklı olarak daha çok cinsiyetiyle ve cinsiyetinin beraberinde
getirdiği sorumluluklar ile toplumsal hayatta yer edinmiştir. Ancak
kadının annelik vasfı ile birlikte gelen rolü, sosyal süreçlerin onun aleyhine
işlemesine neden olmuştur. Toplum mühendisliğinin hemen her aşamasında
kadına çizilen bir sınır bulunmaktadır. Kadının konumunu iyileştirmek
iddiasıyla sahneye çıkan toplumsal değişimler ise kadını bir meta haline getirmiştir.
Günümüzde kadınlar iki seçenek arasında bırakılmaktadır: ya cinsiyetler
arası bir hiyerarşinin varlığını kabul edip ikinci sıraya kendisini yerleştirecek,
ya da tam eşitliği kabul edip erkeklerle aynı konumda olduğunu
ispatlamaya çalışacaktır. İslâmiyet’in insanlardan istediği bunlardan ikisi de
değildir. Çünkü Cenab-ı Hak insanları farklılıklar üzerine yaratmıştır ve bu
farklılıklar kulluğun bir parçasıdır. Ancak aynı zamanda takva dışında hiçbir
şeyi de üstünlük sebebi olarak kabul etmemiştir. Bu nedenle kadınların
dünyevi ve uhrevi saadetleri İslâmiyet dairesindedir.

Women Through Two Windows
Abstract
Women, unlike men, have acquired a position in social life with their
gender and the responsibilities brought by their gender. However, the role
of women that comes with motherhood has caused the social processes to
work against them. There is a limit drawn for women at almost every stage
of social engineering. On the other hand, social changes that emerged with
the claim of improving the position of women, have made women a commodity.
Today, women are left between two choices: either accepting the
existence of a gender hierarchy and placing themselves in the second place,
or accepting full equality and trying to prove that they are in the same position
with men. Neither of these is what Islam requires from humans. That’s
because God created humans on the basis of differences and these differences
are a part of servitude. However, at the same time, He did not accept
anything other than taqwa as a reason for superiority. Therefore, the worldly
and otherworldly bliss of women is within the scope of Islam.
