Toplumsal Cinsiyet Eşitliği Tartışmalarına Fıtrat Temelli Bir Yaklaşım – Ömer ALAN
Özet
Toplumsal Cinsiyet Eşitliği tartışmaları; her birisi bizzat tartışma konusu
olan bir çok alt başlık bulundurmaktadır. “Her alanda” kadın-erkek eşitliği
çizgisinde süregelen bu tartışmalar, insana dair biyolojik, psikolojik ve
sosyolojik değerlendirmeler üzerine kurulu olsa da insanın doğuştan sahip
olduğu bütün bu özellikleri de ihtiva eden, tartışmaların merkezinde tutulması
gereken “fıtrat” kavramına yeteri kadar yer verilmemektedir. Bu çalışmada;
cinsiyetin biyolojik ve toplumsal açıdan tanımlarına, toplumun kadın
ve erkek hakkında düşüncelerine, toplumsal rollerin dağılımı ve fıtratın
etkisi konularına yer verilmiştir.

A Human Nature-Based Approach
to Gender Equality Debates
Abstract
Debates on Gender Equality contain many sub-topics, each of which is
itself a subject of a separate discussion. Although these ongoing debates on
the topic of equality between men and women in “every field” are based on
biological, psychological and sociological evaluations of human beings, the
concept of “fitra” (human nature), which includes all these innate characteristics
of human beings and should be kept at the centre of the discussions, is
not given enough space. This study includes the biological and social definitions
of gender, social considerations on men and women, the distribution of
social roles and the effect of human nature.
