Batı Medeniyeti ve Çatışmacı Paradigmanın Sonuçları – Yrd. Doç. Dr. Osman Özkul
Özet
Batı medeniyetinin yıkıcı ve tahrip edici unsurları, bilim ve teknolojiyi bir araç olarak kullanarak, bütün dünyayı kuşatmıştır. Bunun literatürdeki adı ise “Modernleştirme” ya da “Çağdaşlaştırma” olmuştur. Bu nedenle yazımızda öncelikle Batı medeniyetinin hayat felsefesinin temel öğeleri analiz edilecektir. Bu amaçla Batı medeniyetinin dayandığı ahlak felsefesi bireysel-psikolojik, toplumsal-sosyolojik, siyasal-ideolojik ve iktisadi-ekonomik faktörleri içerecek şekilde irdelenecek. Son olarak ise, yıkıcı, çatışmacı ve güvensizliğe neden olan
bu medeniyete karşı yapıcı, bütünleştirici ve güven üzerine tesis edilmiş bir “medeniyet projesinin” dayanması gereken temel ilkeler açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
The destructive elements of the Western civilization have surrounded the World by using science and technology. This has been called in the literature “modernization” and “becoming contemporary”. Therefore in our study first we will analyze the basic elements of the life philosophy of the Western Civilization. For this reason, the ethics philosophy on which the Western Civilization is based will be investigated from the viewpoints of individual-psychological, social-sociological, political-ideological and economic factors. Finally we will try to explain the basic principles of a constructive, unifying “civilization Project” based on trust against this destructive, and coflicting civilization causing distrust.
